Why Sportual Exists

Most sports communities already have passionate people doing the hard part: bringing players together.

Sportual is built to support those organizers, not replace them. Whether it is a weekly pickup game, a youth team, a private training group, or a multi-team club, Sportual gives organizers modern tools for schedules, RSVPs, payments, communication, discovery, and member management.

The goal is simple: give every sports community software that feels as polished as the best consumer apps, without making organizers give up control of their group.

Founder Story

Sportual was founded by Tarek Salama, a software engineer and lifelong athlete who studied Computer Science at Arizona State University and grew up around the same sports organization problems Sportual is built to solve.

After years of dealing with fragmented tools for pickup games, leagues, teams, and sports communities, Tarek started building Sportual as a better way to connect athletes and organize sports. What began as a university concept gradually became a production platform shaped by real organizer and player workflows.
